Dips started Warsop Cricket Coaching following a season of playing and coaching cricket in Australia in 2006. Being a British Indian coach, he was asked by Australian children about the conditions in England and India. Over the Australian Christmas holidays he ran a coaching clinic with the idea of teaching and coaching these young players about the conditions around the world. Fast forwards to 2012, during a holiday he discussed the concept with his fiancée who told him to Just Do It!
2012 Warsop Camp was born and has grown to be Essex largest summer cricket camp. Dips has 2 daughters who are now old enough to join camp this year!
Nick was in year 7 when Dips was in year 13 at KEGS. Nick applied to be an assistant coach at Warsop Camps in 2014 and progressed to be a Senior coach in 2016. As a school teacher by trade, and as passionate about developing young as Dips they have worked together to build Warsop Cricket Coaching summer Camps. Nick is a wicket keeper and a strong batter. He also has a young family of 2 boys that will be also joining the camps this year.
Rob joined Warsop Cricket Coaching in 2017 as an assistant coach and progressed to be a Senior coach in 2020. Rob plays in the 1st XI @ Chelmsford CC and is also a teacher by trade. Batter by trade Rob has scored many runs for the club. This year Rob became a Dad and we hope to see his little one join us during the camps in a pushchair!
Jack has been with Dips from the very start of Warsop Cricket Coaching. Jack is a specialist coach within the 7-9 age range. Dips has coached around the country and is yet to meet a coach that is so impactful within this age group. Constantly enthusiastic, innovative and fun with his sessions. These young boys and girls are constantly inspired by Jacks coaching methods.
